La zona più sicura in cui alloggiare è il quartiere di Makati, che è anche il centro economico della capitale. Non vi stupite se anche qua troverete guardie armate e metal detector all'ingresso di alberghi, ristoranti e negozi. Consiglio un giro turistico della città guidato organizzato da una delle tante agenzie che passano direttamente a prendervi in albergo.

Da Manila merita veramente l'escursione al Lago Taal: un lago vulcanico con dentro un'isola che in realtà è la bocca di in vulcano che contiene un altro lago con in mezzo un'isoletta... vulcanica: spettacolare!

From Manila really worths the excursion to Taal Lake: a volcanic lake with an island in the middle, that in fact is the mouth of a volcano that contains another lake with in the middle a small island... volcanic too!
