Marsiglia

Io l'ho visitata in un giorno ma sicuramente per entrare nello spirito di questa città di mare occorre più tempo. Oltre alle classiche mete turistiche come il Vecchio Porto e la cattedrale di Notre Dame de la Garde, consiglio di vedere i murales sparsi per il quartiere Le Panier.
I visited this city in one day but for sure to get into the spirit of this seaside city requires more time. In addition to the touristic sites like Old Port and Notre Dame de la Garde cathedral, I suggest to see murales spread around Le Panier quarter.

Lyon

E' una bella città da visitare in un fine settimana: consiglio quello dell'8 Dicembre perché si svolge la "Fête des Lumières" una suggestiva manifestazione di luci e suoni per le vie e lungo i due fiumi della città. Molti B&B disponibili a prezzi convenienti.
It's a nice city to visit during a weekend: I suggest around December 8 becuase happens "Fête des Lumières" a set of impressive shows of lights and sounds in the streets and along the two rivers of the city. Many B&B available at cheap prices.

Alta Savoia

L'impressione che ho avuto degli abitanti di questa regione è di persone altezzose, scorbutiche e inospitali, caratteristica confermata da molti loro vicini Svizzeri e Valdostani con cui ho parlato. L'ambiente naturale è comunque molto piacevole, io ho soggiornato a Chamonix e St. Gervais les Bains, entrambe cittadine incantevoli sia per lo sci che per il dopo-sci. Consiglio un paio di locali a St. Gervais les Bains: per l'aperitivo il bar La Grange mentre per la cucina savoiarda il ristorante Edelweiss.
The impression I had from Savoyards is haughty, grumpy and inhospitable people; this point was confirmed by Swiss and Aostian people I spoke to. The natural environment is anyway very nice, I stayed in Chamonix and St. Gervais les Bains, both enchanting villages. I suggest a couple of places in St. Gervais les Bains: bar La Grange for apertitif and Edelweiss restaurant for Savoyard cuisine.

Ile du Levant

Per vivere al meglio l'esperienza dell'unica isola naturista del mondo, consiglio di soggiornare al camping "La Pinede"; è immerso nel verde ha una bellissima piscina ed è gestito da due persone squisite: Monique e Dominique. La sostenibilità è la regola del campeggio: qua si vive con i ritmi della natura facendo uso limitato di acqua, elettricità e illuminazione. E' possibile anche affittare bungalow.

The best way to live the experience of the unique naturist island in the world is stay in camping "La Pinede"; is surrounded by plants, has a fantastic swimming pool and is managed by two kind people: Monique and Dominique. Sustainability is the camping rule: life here has nature rythm, with limited use of water, electricity and light. Also bungalow for rent.

Corsica

Suggerisco due meravigliose spiagge: Saleccia e Ostriconi, ai margini del Deserto di Agriates, nel nord-ovest dell'isola. Saleccia è una spiaggia dai colori caraibici, che si raggiunge via mare in battello da St. Florent oppure via terra su una strada sterrata non vi consiglio nemmeno se avete il fuoristrada.
Ostriconi è particolare oltre che per la sabbia bianchissima, per la fitta vegetazione dell'entroterra in contrasto col deserto della zona. Si trova a pochi chilometri dalla cittadina di Ile Rousse.
Nel sud della Corsica non sono ancora stato, attendo i vostri post.
I suggest a couple of wonderful beaches: Saleccia and Ostriconi, at the borders of Agriates Desert, in the north west. Saleccia is a caribbean colors beach, that can be reached via boat from St. Florent or via land on a dirt track that I do not advise even if you have an off-road veichle.
Ostriconi is particular not only for the very white sand but for the inland nature contrasting the desert area. Is few chilometers out of Ile Rousse.

Cannes

Questo hotel merita menzione per la posizione che permette di raggiungere in 10' a piedi il punto più caratteristico della Croisette, dove si trova il Casinò e per la gentilezza e disponibilità della signora che lo gestisce:

Parigi

Le zone più carine e comode dove alloggiare e con un buon rapporto qualità prezzo, sono il 10^ e il 12^ arrondissment. Il 10^ è comodissimo per chi arriva in aereo dall'aeroporto Charles De Gaulle perchè la RER B collega direttamente l'aeroprto alla Gare du Nord. Nella zona di Fauborg St Denis ci sono alcuni piccoli hotel, io sono stato all'Aris Nord:

se ci andate, chiedete la stanza all'ultimo piano: due meravigliose finestre in abbaino sui tetti di Parigi. Senza prendere la metro, in 20' a piedi si arriva a Chatelet.
Il 12^ è un arrondissment molto vasto, la parte migliore è quella confinante con la zona del Marais, piena di locali serali e notturni.
Nicest and comfortable areas where to stay, with a good quality/price ratio are the 10^ and the 12^ arrondissment. The 10^ is perfect if you arrive from Charles De Gaulle airport because the RER B directly connects the airport to the Gare du Nord. If you go there, ask for the top floor room: two wonderful windows over Paris' roofs. Wihtout taking the Metro, it's 20' walking distance from the Chatelet.
The 12^ is a very large arrondissment, the best part is close to the Marais district, full of nice clubs and pubs.
