Il consiglio naturalmente è di non limitarsi a spiagge e mare di questa bellissima isola, ma di visitare i luoghi più interessanti, come minimo Iraklio, il palazzo di Cnosso e le gole di Samaria.

Data la vastità dell'isola, il modo più comodo ed economico per percorrela è affittare un auto; molti alberghi affittano direttamente le loro vetturette, spesso utilitarie senza aria condizionata, ma molto in tono con l'atmosfera del posto.
Suggestion is not to limit to beaches and sea of this wonderful island, but to visit the most interesting places, like the city of Iraklio, Cnosso palace and Samaria Gorge.
Given the island dimension, the most comfortable and cheap way to move is to rent a car; many hotel rent their small cars, often city car with no air conditioning, but well in tune with the place atmosphere.
